Why choose our bags?

Our materials are eco-responsible

At Mouna, we prioritize ensuring that our products respect the environment. Thus all our materials come from a renewable and eco-responsible trade.

For example, we use:

Pineapple leather

Pineapple leather also called “Piñatex” comes from the fibers of pineapple leaves, which are a renewable and abundant source in tropical regions, these fibers are extracted in an artisanal way without using harmful chemicals.

Cactus Leather

Cactus leather is obtained from cactus leaves, they are cut when they are mature and do not damage the cactus itself. It is a responsible substitute, its ecological impact is less impactful than a synthetic fiber and there are a large number of them around the world.

Apple leather

Apple leather is made from apple waste, peels and cores, which subsequently become a soft, waterproof and resistant material and which reflects the feeling of luxury leather. It is easy to maintain, only warm, soapy water is enough to clean it.

Our Sourcing is 100% transparent

Improving our sourcing is the starting point of our process, to guarantee transparent and low-impact production.

We strive to promote local business and work with talented producers and artisans based in France.

Priority to slow fashion

By prioritizing slow fashion and unique collections rather than the race for novelty and trends, we bring you eco-designed garments whose end of life has been anticipated.

Know-how and waste reduction are our basis of work

Know-how and circularity are the key to our design process. We strive to reduce waste by offering recycled materials.

You get a very high quality leather bag without having to feel guilty about the origin of the products or the impact of your purchase on the environment!
